Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced they are expecting their first baby together on the eve of their first Royal Tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "very pleased" to reveal their "happy" news, Kensington Palace said in a statement today
The couple's child is expected to be born next Spring, with 37-year-old Meghan believed to be just over three months pregnant. The former US actress is understood to have had her 12-week scan, and a senior Palace source said “she is in good health”.
The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to all be "delighted" for Meghan and Harry. The couple had shared the news with some members of the royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding at Windsor Castle on Friday.
