Tears flowed freely on Monday, October 29, as the son of late Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha could not hold back his emotions when family members attended the wreath laying ceremony near the crash site at the King Power Stadium.
According to The Mirror report, Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha was among the five people that were killed on Saturday, after his helicopter crashed following Leicester 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Among the family members who attended the wreath laying include his wife Aimon, son Aiyawatt and daughter Voramas along with friends and loved ones.

Interestingly, Aiyawatt, who also doubles as Leicester’s vice-chairman, could not join his father on the helicopter on Saturday, as he was away in Thailand.
During the ceremony various groups had one or two messages to pass across as tributes continued to pour in for the departed club owner.

Reacting at the ceremony, Premier League executive chairman Richard Scudamore noted that the departed Vichaj will be greatly missed by the football world.
"Vichai was a gentleman who graced the game with his civility and charm and we will miss him enormously.
His impact on Leicester - the football club and city - will be remembered forever,” the EPL boss statement read in part.

On his part, club captain Wes Morgan took to the social media to pay his last respect to the departed club chief.
"Absolutely heartbroken and devastated regarding the news of our chairman. A man that was loved and adored,” he tweeted, even as teammate Schmeichel, who was reported to have witnessed the crash, hailed Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha for providing him a platform to accomplish his football dreams on his official Instagram account.
"Dear Mr Chairman. I cannot believe this is happening. I am so totally devastated and heartbroken. I just cannot believe what I saw last night. It just doesn't seem real, " he wrote.
" It is difficult to put into words how much you meant to this football club and to the city of Leicester. Never have I ever come across a man like you. So hard working, so passionate, so kind and so generous in the extreme.

"You changed football. Forever! You gave hope to everyone that the impossible was possible. You literally made my dreams come true."We now have a responsibility as a club, as players and fans to honour you.

Interestingly, the helicopter pilot Eric Swaffer, alongside his co-pilot girlfriend Izabela Roza Lechowicz and the pair of Nusara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare also died in the crash.
